I currently live in Wauconda and it's a great town. It has a cute little downtown area that you can shop and eat at. It's a small town which is nice because I feel connected to everyone there. Bangs Lake is also in the middle of Wauconda. It is a great lake to fish at and boat in. I go to the beach over the summer and I have tons of fun with friends in the summer swimming. I have made lots of friends here and there's always something to do with them. There's lots of restaurant options so we can always get food. There's also Cook park and the skate park which is always fun to go to. There is also a hill we can sled down in the winter. Wauconda is a small, welcoming town for anybody and I encourage everyone to visit if they have the time.
Wauconda is a beautiful town with amazing People. Lots of outdoor activities and a community that focus on Children.
It is surrounded by a gorgeous forest preserve and the calm waters of its Lake.
I enjoyed growing up there, playing Soccer, Basketball and Volleyball.
I also enjoy going for walks with my dog at the Dog park and visiting downtown to hang out with friends.
Overall is a great town with good schools and amazing people.

Growing up here, I know this place like the back of my hand. The community is friendly and welcoming, and there is a wide variety of shops to peruse. One thing I wish would change would be the lack of sidewalks. With the amount of roads in Wauconda, having a sidewalk for those who want to walk instead of drive would be beneficial.
