Great place to settle and have a family. Great school system. Opportunity for different possibilities in this area
Watkinsville is a great place to call home. The people are friendly, the crime rate is low, and the schools are amazing! Watkinsville is a super place to raise a family or to retire. Its proximity to Athens and all that the University of Georgia offers makes it truly unique.
An amazing little town where everyone is connected and knows each other well. If anyone ever needs some help, there is always people there to help them out. its a great calm place to live in where nothing bad happens.
I love this place so much. It has so much to offer and the town is small enough to where kids can bike over to their friend's houses in about 5 minutes. I have lived here for three years and I can say that I have never had a bitterly bad experience (aha alliteration). The schools are amazing and my kids love them.
Watkinsville is a quiet town without much to do. The Oconee Schools are really good, and crime is minuscule. Most of the houses are really expensive.
Overall, we love Watkinsville! My kids go to school here and we are also involved with Little League. Our experiences with both of these entities have generally been positive. The community is great. The parks are nicely kept. The streets are well-maintained and the sidewalks are clean. We feel safe living here. If I'm going to live in Georgia, this is the only place for me and for my family!
The nature, the school, the mountains and the people. I think it's a great place to live because I love the nature and there's a lot of that in Watkinsville.
I was born in Watkinsville, GA and have lived here all my life. A lot of my family lives here and I love having them close. I've learned many things about myself and the person I want to be.
I am from a Navy family. Watkinsville Georgia has to be the safest and cleanest places I have ever lived. Love it here.
To be honest, being raised in Watkinsville, Georgia was one of the greatest blessings ever bestowed upon me. The schools here are great, we have a great police force, a great firefighting force, and UGA is just right down the road. I always try to give back to this town as much as I can, because I know it is good for me and good for my fellow neighbors. Watkinsville really helps Georgia, and the USA, to be a much more happier and sustainable land.
Friendly, small town feeling, where people smile and say, "Hi and Good Morning!". Keep commercial growth under control so development does not get out of hand.
Watkinsville is a nice little town with many stores and restaurants. The people are very friendly and once you spend a little time to get to know them, you will understand that Watkinsville is a small, happy town that everyone wants but can never find
It is a wonderful town that is slowly expanding. Great public schools and safe neighborhoods. It's a perfect small town to build a family.
Very visible and engaging both in the county and in the city.
Great sense of community. Watkinsville has that small town feel, but is close to everything.
One thing that is very good about my area, is there is hardly any crime. I feel very safe, and the police can usually be seen riding around.
The area is very nice, but some of the people here aren't the best. While many are nice, some of the people have grown up in a very wealthy atmosphere and think they are better than everyone. The school system and convenience add to my town overall value, but the people are very close minded.
