Overall, we love Watkinsville! My kids go to school here and we are also involved with Little League. Our experiences with both of these entities have generally been positive. The community is great. The parks are nicely kept. The streets are well-maintained and the sidewalks are clean. We feel safe living here. If I'm going to live in Georgia, this is the only place for me and for my family!

To be honest, being raised in Watkinsville, Georgia was one of the greatest blessings ever bestowed upon me. The schools here are great, we have a great police force, a great firefighting force, and UGA is just right down the road. I always try to give back to this town as much as I can, because I know it is good for me and good for my fellow neighbors. Watkinsville really helps Georgia, and the USA, to be a much more happier and sustainable land.
I just moved here three months ago. It is a nice, quiet town. Traffic through downtown is pretty backed up at most times of day. The people are friendly. There’s lots of restaurants nearby.
