Working in Watervliet
Watervliet is a decent town for someone who doesn't really care for a social/nightlife area. There a very few restaurants with not very much to do. The local library has many events for grownups and plenty of programs for kids. Another great place in Watervliet would be the Arc Light Brewery, it's a great place to get some drinks and play some board/card games. Besides that there isn't really much in the area. Neighbors tend to keep to themselves. The schools are fairly good. I think they could use a bit more out of school clubs. There is only a small handful. They could also use a bit more classes and clubs in the arts. There isn't even a drama club, just band/marching and choir. The scenery and nature is really beautiful. One of the best things about the town.
Not many activities to do, but the school is fantastic, crime is minimal, and the residents all know one another as if everybody is one big family. This is the definition of a quaint, little town!
I really like how everyone here knows each other. Everyone gathers around on Friday nights to watch the local football team play. Also, we have parades where people will get together and watch our Kings and Queens.
