Waterford, California is a very small town with less than 10,000 people residing in it. It's a nice town to settle down in as the school system, recreational aspect, and food culture are all average due to the limited access it has to major chain-industries and resources of income. Waterford, however, does have an exceptional family friendly community that cares about education and safety of residents. Coming from a large city myself, it has been an adjust to the small town feel, yet, ultimately, it allows for everyone to know each other and create a peaceful atmosphere for people to thrive in.

I enjoy living in Waterford because it is a small town. Because it is small, safety is assured. The schools are near by, there is rarely ever any disturbing or loud noises at night. However, since the town is small, there are not many major shopping centers like Walmart and Costco or clothing stores, and job opportunities are limited to working in fast food joints or small grocery stores. The nearest city with more opportunities that the town lacks is about a 20 minute drive away. But overall, I enjoy living in Waterford because everyone is friendly and it feels very safe.
Waterford is a very quiet, nice town to live in. There’s not a whole lot going on around here, but it does feel very safe. The last place I lived in always had me feeling nervous at night, and I feel completely comfortable in this small town. The only down side is that there isn’t a ton to do and there aren’t many good places to eat here.
