Washington Reviews
Rating 3.5 out of 5 2 reviews
I have lived in Washington my whole life. I love how small and communal it is. I love how rural it is. Although commute times can be long, you can get to quite a few places pretty quickly from Washington. I would like to see more land and buildings in Washington be reserved, I would like Washington to stay small, and I would like for there to be more local job opportunities, even if it's in surrounding areas. One of the biggest things that could be improved is the nightlife, whether it is expanding the hours of the library or the creation of nightly communal events/clubs. I haven't been in school in Washington for over 10 years, but I do know that funding and keeping staff can be difficult. Although there could be improvements made to the little town of Washington, in the last ten years it has made progress and some of the things that are lacking are what keep it small, rural, and charming.
Most local businesses are mom-and-pop shops and there is not much industry in our area; therefore shops do not have much money for quality upkeep and variety.
