I love the small town atmosphere! Anything you need or want is within reasonable distance. Though, I would love to see more activities downtown, and I would like to see more beautification and updates done to 5th street.

There are a few hidden gems in Washington, and they range from a school to a coffee shop to little speciality stores. Most people are friendly making it a great place to visit. There are many family friendly events put on by the town. I wouldn't recommend living there if you weren't born there. There's a small town mentality that leaves you feeling like you don't belong. Other than that, it's a cute little town.
Washington is a delightful little town, and a gem in Franklin county Missouri. The school district is great, and very accomodating for my child. There's plenty to do in town, including a downtown on the riverfront and lots of shopping. There's even a model train museum.
