We could improve on our commercial business in our town, but it is an overall great place to live. We are rural community just outside cabot and Beebe which both have availability to grocery stores and great school districts. We are only 45 minutes away from Little Rock which offers multiple job opportunities.

Me and my fiancé relocated to Ward, Arkansas back in October 2015. We love this area because the weather is a lot cooler than Brownsville, Tx, which was our previous place of residence. The people here are more polite. For example, people in this area have the tendency of giving you right of way if you're exiting a grocery store or gas station. People will also greet you. I hardly got greeted by strangers in Brownsville. The traffic here is approximately 80% less. Me and my fiancé both work in Cabot, Ar, which is about 10 miles from our home and only takes us about 15 minutes to get to work. When I drove to work in Texas, a distance of about 3 miles, it took me about 30 minutes to get too work because of all the traffic. This is a great place to live. Low crime rate, low traffic, great weather, lots of trees, etc.
Ward, AR is a small town with great people. It is a part of a cluster of towns where neighbors become great friends. This cluster includes Cabot, Beebe, and Jacksonville. Jacksonville is where Little Rock Air Force Base is housed. Many of the residents in these cities are employed at the air base. It is really nice when you have come from a larger city and you can go into your local store (like Walmart) and people remember who you are and call you by your last name (like Mrs. Merryfield, or Ms. Rena). It makes you feel really good when that happens and it is not because I have grown up here. It is that kind of community, where people really care about each other. It is that special.
