Wamego is a small town in between Manhattan and Topeka, Kansas. I've lived here for about a year, and I'm satisfied with the overall experience. It boasts a quaint, very kid-friendly park with a pond. The town has some diners and restaurants, including a uniquely renovated house turned restaurant called the Friendship House, but generally the dining scene is low-key. It's a quiet town with very friendly people. Very family friendly and no crime that I'm aware of. The town is big enough to have a modern hospital.

Wamego provides its residents with an astounding experience only experienced through a small town community. Populated by 4,000 people, Wamego is known across Kansas for its lavish festivities yielded by volunteers headed by strong and effective local leadership. Wamego is known for having a protective "bubble" and shelters its youth from the harm and spite seen in nearby cities. I was blessed growing up in Wamego learning and succeeding a small environment encouraging growth.
Wamego is a small town in northeast Kansas that boasts a multitude of unique features, such as its Wizard of Oz museum and spectacular annual fireworks show.
