Wallkill is safe, friendly, and open! You can trust your neighbors, the police force, and the small businesses. The school systems are amazing, and the nature is gorgeous. I’m happy to live here!
I lived in Wallkill for 12 years. I attended Leptondale Elementary School and lived in an area with many neighbors. I liked that where we lived, our neighbors were very close and we could all get together very easily to ride bikes and play football.
I enjoy that Wallkill is rather small town and not much goes on. It makes living here very relaxing. I would want to see more diversity and open minded people in the area because it is small but the world is so diverse.
I have lived in Wallkill my whole life and it is a wonderful town. The school district is great and the community is unforgettable.
I have Lived in Wallkill All my Life. Many Great Neighborhoods in Wallkill. Great Schools and is a safe place to live. Great Place to Raise a Family or just live by yourself. Marketplaces are only about 5-10 minute drive away. Cherry Top is the best place to get Ice Cream in the Summer heat. Two Dollar Generals are Close to one another. Wallkill is a Great place to live.
Great place to raise a family, good schools, little crime, reasonable housing prices and taxes. Not a lot of rentals available, need more diversity.
We are a poor town that needs a lot of work. Streets need to be replaced as I have gone through a lot of mufflers
It's a pretty safe area overall to live in, you just need to be mindful.
This area is a great mix between the urban life of Middletown, suburban life of Scotchtown and rural life of Pine Bush.
This town seems to have little or no sense of community. This makes for a lower quality of life overall. This matter is rarely or never discussed. Also, the job situation - it seems that everyone is fighting over the same handful of opportunities. If I had to choose again, I'd seriously reconsider.
