Working in Wallingford
I don’t live in Wallingford but I love to visit. I’m a New Englander who has moved away and I love to come back and visit New England towns. Wallingford offers great restaurants, friendly people, and something to do for everyone. The library is beyond compare. If you’re a reader or even a technology-lover, visit this library. Very advanced with helpful personnel. In autumn I enjoy the apple picking and visiting the Wallingford Victorian Inn just for pictures! Next time I’ll stay. If you live here count your blessings!

Choate Rosemary Hall is very close to the center of town, and its students are known to enjoy these restaurants. There are two public high schools in Wallingford: Lyman Hall, and Sheehan. They are rivalry schools and play against each either during all of their sports. Every year, over 5,000 people come to watch the powderpuff game, where the senior girls play football against each other and the senior boys cheerlead. Overall, their highschool sports are very good. Multiple teams make their SCC and state tournaments every year. Last year, Lyman Hall won against Sheehan in the hockey state championship.
