After living in Wakefield for over 10 years there are many things I've found to love and hate. It's a quiet town during Winter, except when you hear everyone complaining about the poorly paved state roads. During the summer it becomes alive as all the tourists visiting and passing through stop and check out the few things Wakefield has to offer.

Wakefield is a great town to live in and raise a family. There are 7 lakes for outdoor activities and a number of restaurants but still a small town feel. The property taxes are low which make it affordable but you have to plan to drive 30-45 minutes to work in most corporations.
It is a very small town. I never had the childhood where i had all my friends within walking distance. It was nice living close to the downtown area because I could walk to the store, but it was very small and never quite had everything you needed. The closest supermarket is at least 20 minutes away in either Rochester or Ossipee
