I moved to Wagoner from Arizona in April of 2011. It is so different than where I was born. I loved the green trees and the lake. Wagoner is a small town, so sometimes I feel like an outsider. Over the years I have built some great friendships and have an amazing church family. One thing I would like to change in Wagoner would be the acceptance of people who move in to town. In a small town everyone knows you or of you. To have a welcoming community would make others willing to raise families here. Overall the community here does band together when tough times happen. I like the fact that even though it takes some time for people to accept you, there are great people here in Wagoner USA!

Overall I love living in Wagoner. It is a great place to live and our City is working hard to bring in new businesses. It is a close family friendly community with lots of community involvement. What would I change? The public schools are not the greatest. They lack the funding to be the best that they could be academically and are in bad need of new buildings. I would like to see more shopping options. Walmart is our main choice for shopping and groceries. There is not a much to do for teens or family entertainment.
I have loved living in Wagoner. I grew up here and enjoyed all of my school years. My Mom was an educator here the entire time I was in school. It is a very family oriented town with a huge love for sports. The people are very friendly and always willing to help someone else in need. I participated in Drama and 4H during my time in high school. During middle school I participated in Drama club, 4H, softball, student council, PSI (Postponing Sexual Involvement) and STAY (Students Teaching Aids to Youth).
