I am a student at Wadsworth, and throughout my entire educational experience here, I can say that we have one of the best educational programs around. We have great athletics that involve not only the students but the entire community. We have great community activities downtown such as "First Fridays" where we close down the main part of downtown and invite food trucks, entertainment, sometimes blow-ups, and even more.
The life at Wadsworth Ohio is quite an interesting experience. The downtown area has a nice Walmart, Buehlers, Drug Mart, and other great stores. They have three parks very close to each other. One of the parks is made for dogs. It is a great town!
I love all the fun, family friendly activities that are downtown throughout the year. Every spring is the blue-tip parade followed by carnival. The Fourth of July fireworks display is fantastic! The end of summer each year is the Taste of Wadsworth where many different food trucks and local food vendors come together which makes for a yummy time. Halloween is especially a great time to live in or visit Wadsworth. Scare on the Square is great times where all local shops downtown open their doors to all the kids for trick or treat while tons of residents of the city are among the crowd as zombies. Next thing you know Michael Jackson and his date are right in front of you then Thriller starts and a flash mob of zombies parade down the street performing a spectacular reinactment from the famous Michael Jackson Thriller video. All of downtown is decorated so beautifully for Christmas time with several inviting coffee shops.
