I love all the fun, family friendly activities that are downtown throughout the year. Every spring is the blue-tip parade followed by carnival. The Fourth of July fireworks display is fantastic! The end of summer each year is the Taste of Wadsworth where many different food trucks and local food vendors come together which makes for a yummy time. Halloween is especially a great time to live in or visit Wadsworth. Scare on the Square is great times where all local shops downtown open their doors to all the kids for trick or treat while tons of residents of the city are among the crowd as zombies. Next thing you know Michael Jackson and his date are right in front of you then Thriller starts and a flash mob of zombies parade down the street performing a spectacular reinactment from the famous Michael Jackson Thriller video. All of downtown is decorated so beautifully for Christmas time with several inviting coffee shops.

Wadsworth is home to a very well-tended and visually appealing downtown area. This space is extremely safe due to the number of children and families that live around town, and the public school offers excellent academics in comparison to surrounding districts. While many of the downtown shops have awkward hours that make it difficult to call it a nightlife hot spot, there are plenty of activities that you an indulge in otherwise. Nearly everyone who lives here is kind-hearted and the community runs deep due to the number of people.
Wadsworth is a very nice town, ecspecially to raise a family. Everything you need is close by. We have multiple grocery stores, restaurants, churches, gas stations, chain stores, you name it. Anything more you can easily find in Fairlawn about 20 minutes away. The freeway goes right through town and you can access just about anywhere, in no time.

We have a fabulous, public school system and law enforcement. It is very safe here. The convenience of the town is unbelievable. Jobs are all around, many commute to Akron. The entire town has recently been all remodeled. Our city stays on top of any maintenance and takes really good care of its appearance and functionality. We have plenty of nice parks including one of the best dog parks in the area.
