Wadsworth is a plain and simple town. There are many neighborhoods but not a lot of stores within the town. Wadsworth itself is pretty small. I think it's a typical small town in the suburbs. Another thing to remember is that Wadsworth actually has some large portions that are farmlands too. People do like to buy in this area because it has a decent school district. Although the schools are in another, much larger town. If you want to move here, it's a good choice, but taxes are still sky-high. This is Illinois we are talking about.
Personally, I love the town I live in. It's centrally located, being about 15 minutes from the town of Gurnee while also being about 15 minutes away from Pleasant Prairie. It's a rather quiet, well-kept, and full of all kinds of necessary amenities. The people are all fairly friendly and the town itself is well-developed and clean and well taken care of. Overall, Wadsworth is a nice town for anyone with families or looking for a place to settle down.
I have lived here for most of my life, and in my experience it’s been a safe, quiet neighborhood. It’s close to a few grade/middle schools, as well as Warren Township High School (especially the Oplaine campus)
