From food, to shopping, hiking trails, and mammoth remains, there's a little bit of everything here. Not to mention, Magnolia is a beautiful place to visit, I spent hours there losing track of time.
I had no idea that violent crime in Waco is double the national average until I visited. It makes sense since the town is full of whackos strapped with guns like they’re just waiting for the opportunity to fulfill their bloodlust. This town is a pit of ugly. The landscape is ugly, the people look miserable, it is devoid of anything fun to do, and the people are strait rude and/or crazy. Maybe because I visited my family with out of state plates, but the nastiness I faced makes me hope they move soon. Waco must have an abnormally high number of psychopaths to match their abnormally high violent crime rates. It’s an abysmal town.
Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting Waco and experiencing firsthand the incredible work of Laley Remote radio event that I was invited to from Prophecy Media Group.
They help small businesses grow and thrive. Hector's commitment to bringing in high traffic through ads for clients in real estate and job opportunities is a testament to their dedication. Cynthia's efforts, the friendly atmosphere has continued to improve, creating a welcoming environment.
One of the things I appreciate about Simona was her creativity to understand the unique needs and challenges of each business she does marketing for. They go above and beyond to help businesses succeed, contributing to the community.
Overall, I was impressed with the work being done by La Que Manda en Waco. If you're a small business owner looking to grow and expand your reach, I highly recommend reaching out to Simona and her team. Their expertise and dedication to helping businesses succeed are truly unmatched.

Depending on where you live, some areas could be dangerous but there are many opportunities. Personally, I have had many opportunities to make my life better here but I will not stay here. It is a good starting place though and I would do it over again. Hewitt in particular is a great place to start a family.

Waco as a whole, feels like a very small, big town. There are many different areas in Waco that are in different economic phases, however, downtown is very charming and entertaining. The Baylor campus is gorgeous, Magnolia and fabulous, and the suburb areas are nice. There is a beautiful lake that offers walking and biking! On the other hand, there is a big homeless community, and you will often find many people pan handling on the corners.
It's a great city, but there aren't many places to go out to. Overall it's a great atmosphere and most people here are friendly.
Waco has more to offer than just Magnolia, Baylor University and a pass thru city. Local artist, amazing mom and pop shops and terrific vendors at the weekly farmer's market. These are just a few of the hidden gems in Waco.
Waco does not have many opportunities to do anything. There's barely any nightlife; there are very few bars and clubs and they aren't good for the most part. The city is very dangerous, and the neighborhoods aren't nice at all. I've seen lots of incidences of abusive backyard breeding and houses that are very damaged but still has residents. Waco is pretty much only a college town. The only good thing about it is that it's an even1 hour and 30 minute drive from Dallas and Austin.
Waco has so many opportunities for arts and culture, an amazing library system, and a thriving religious community. It's constantly changing and growing, although this growth tends to push out anyone who cant' afford to keep up.
Waco has a small town vibe with lots to do... From Baylor football to the Sillos.
There is so much to do.... There is shopping for everyone. Only downside is the traffic.

I've grown up in Waco and have watched it prosper in the past couple of years. It's heartwarming to see so many people flooding here to see what beautiful sites the city has to offer!
I loved the community full of many amazing people. Waco has much character and its honestly a very nice place for a family to move to many oppertunities for fun and nice schools
I was born and raised in the small city of Waco. I believe Waco is a good place to reside in especially if you enjoy small cities. Waco has amazing food places as well as the home of the famous TV couple who run Magnolia here in Waco, Chip and Jo Gaines.
The perfect blend between city and country. The only downsides are there are some shady parts like any city, and this particular area of Texas is more likely to have tornadoes than the majority of Texas. There is plenty to do if you want to go on adventures. There is the Cameron Park Zoo, Union Hall, Chip and Joanna Gain's Magnolia, several parks, the Brazos River, Lake Waco, Melody Ranch, and the Warehouse. Its rich, albeit somewhat turbulent history, offers up some great historical sites. There is the Texas Ranger Museum, the Dr. Pepper Museum, the mammoth dig site, and the Branch Davidian Compound. The locals are some of the friendliest people you will meet. Being originally from the Pacific Northwest, I find the people in Waco to be more polite and outgoing.
Construction and crowding on Saturday because of Magnolia can be annoying. As well as the rising rent cost but then again that’s most places.
waco is average , i have been her my whole life so its a little normal. i am so ready to move to a new area, but waco is a nice average place to live
