Voorhees Township is a great place to live in South Jersey! Everything you could want in a community whether it comes to entertainment, food, shopping, it's all just a short distance away! Where I live there is a great sense of community, many families and children who are all connected and spending time together. Living is affordable and almost all areas of Voorhees are very nice! Besides the roads being a little dodgy overall it is a wonderful place.

Friendly and diverse town. Very clean, great schools, great and safe atmosphere. Town center is very helpful with all needs and concerns. Very easy and quick response from Township when there are issues/requests for anything. We found public works to be extremely helpful when requesting additional trash to be removed outside of collection days and when we had sewer problems with our home. They had an immediate response and took very good care of us. We are very happy to live in a community that works together to make things better.
The area that I live in in Voorhees Township is really nice and close to a lot of things like the mall and other shops, restaurants, grocery stores, the library, Rita’s Ice, Wawa, the Flyers Skate Zone, movie theater and miniature golf, most of which I can walk to. My development has a large pond which I use to love to fish at when I was younger while people walk their dogs, jog for exercise or sit and feed the ducks. Voorhees is a great place to live emphasizing a sense of community with movies in the park, annual fund raisers for the local animal shelter and for kids with cancer. The schools are one of the best in the state. The police are very informative and friendly keeping our town safe. The township is also quick in the Winter to plow our streets immediately after snow storms. I love that we can visit Philadelphia within 30 minutes or be at the Ocean City Boardwalk in one hour.
