Volo is a very small town, but it is not a far drive to bigger areas with more fun stuff to do. My neighborhood is very safe, with lots of children as well. Unfortunately, Volo residents have very little to do, with no restaurants in the whole town (excluding McDonalds). Volo is connected to the Wauconda School district, which have great elementary schools, average middle schools, and a not-so-great high school. My experience living here has been great though, with nice housing and friends in close proximity. I moved to Volo with my family when I was about 7 years old, and it has been a great town to grow up in.

Small with plenty of restaurants, movie theatre, bars, and police department. There is many things within a manageable driving distance.
I'd like to see a few more local businesses but I also like to the quiet suburban feel. I think appraisals are holding back the increase in residential property value. There have been a few houses including mine that had to sell at a lower price because lender appraisals did not meet the sell price.
