The people are friendly. The schools are great! There are a variety of places to shop. The population is very diverse. There are many parks to visit. There are multi-ethnic markets to purchase food from as well. There is a wide variety of concerts and live music available to enjoy.
I have lived all across the 757-area growing up. Virginia Beach is a greatly diverse community. I have been living here, at the Beach, for about 3 years now and although there are great things about it living here could prove to be an eventful struggle to many individuals. Independence rd., for example, is a very well-known road to most Virginia Beach residents, but it also is a hectic and mandatory commute to work, school, home, etc. Many individuals are kind, respectful people but there will be many discourteous residents that believe they are above all. Honestly rating my current homeplace, in conclusion I'd say Virginia Beach is a beautiful place to live. It is on the expensive side but what place isn't in our current world. It's like most places in the 757 and I believe that it would take more than a rating to change any distinguished problems any of our communities have.
Virginia beach is centrally located on the Mid-Atlantic Coast of the US, allowing for temperate weather. Virginia beach has many tourist hotels and motels right along the Atlantic coast which has a beautiful wide beach and a spacious concrete lighted boardwalk. There is no shortage of tasty restaurants in town. Many activities exist for those rainy or too hot days-including museums, a mall, an aquarium, etc. For those nice days outside there is putt putt, arcades, Dave and Busters, Sk8house, numerous community rec centers, YMCA, tons of boutique and second hand shopping. Water sports for every type abound-kayak, canoe, jet ski, boat, fish, yacht. There are dolphin tours year round and whale watching in the winter during their migration.
