Violet Township Reviews
Honestly, I would not choose to live in Pickerington, should I be able to select over again. We came here for a better school system and I did receive exactly that - a terrific education. No one has been rude or cruel, however they are not very warm, either. Just not what you would call a "friendly" town. I would guess most people do not even know their neighbors names. It's a suburb and the people are pretty self-centered. It is not a community in the way I would want for my future.
Too many petty thefts at our department stores. We are not far from other lower end communities and tend to see thefts both in businesses and local residents (cars, garages). Police are visible and residence are becoming more neighborhood alert/friendly, so hope this decreases.
Great outer suburb of Columbus Ohio. Lots of housing options to choose from for all ages/stages in life. Good Schools and lots of part-time employment opportunities for the youth in the community. schools offer lots of extra-curricular activities; which is good to keep the youth busy. Many churches of all religions. Minutes from both downtown Columbus and small town farm communities.
