I feel that it is a great place to live in or around. The necessities are here for everyone and the population continues to grow. Businesses and restaurants also flourish. During the various holidays throughout the year the town holds events such as parades and festivals for everyone to enjoy.

It is a nice, small community that is just a short drive from the malls and restaurants in the area. There are plenty of restaurants and things to do. It is a very clean town and may need to work on a few drug issues, as it seems to have been struck by the exploding opioid epidemic. It is a great little town with lots of hiking trails and restaurants in the area.
Low crime and easy drive to either Roanoke or Smith Mountain Lake. Cost of living is great. I have only lived in Vinton a year, but I have been pleased with the experience.
