Vineland overall is a nice place to live. I wouldn’t live in town. I lived on Montrose st. My husband and I had a situation going on in our lives. His family lives in Vineland. So I didn’t have a choice. But there are outskirts and anywhere from directly in town. My son’s school ,and the preschool is excellent. But area surrounding it not so much. I was walking to the school, and a young adult male tried to sell me drugs. This was right at the school! I keep walking so disappointed. Also there was an issue with the property outside the school. There was needles, and beer cans in the grass area. So the kids had to play in the enclosed playground. The school, and preschool has a campus like setting. So it is open. But there are locked fences surrounding the elementary school. I am not a city girl. So I never grew up in that setting. Overall again this doesn’t go for Vineland itself. Just certain areas you may not want to rent it buy a home.

What I like about Vineland are the many family-friendly locations. Places such as the Drive-In Movie Theatre and the Cumberland Mall are what make it a fun community. There are plenty of family owned restaurants and stores, so all help each other out in some way or another. Our Landis Park is a great place where many events are hosted, such as our annual Puerto Rican Festival.
Vineland is a peaceful, comfortable and reasonable place to visit or live in. There are many hotels and eateries to choose from. There is a plathera of stores to shop and one major mall nearby. The Depthford and Hamilton mall are within a 20 mile range. Vineland is known as the Garden State which has plenty of farm land for growing vegetables. Atlantic City is a forty-five minute drive from Vineland and is a huge tourist attraction for thousands of beach goers and for the night life. Another well known destination that is one hour drive is
Wildwood NJ. and Cape May NJ. Thousands of tourist visit for weeks at a time with their families on vacation.
