I have basically lived here my whole life and I have loved every moment of it. I will say that the taxes are high and the houses are expensive, but the environment is wonderful, with access to parks and other services. The school system is great. The lake is great. The roads are a bit bumpy in some areas, but for the most part great. I would definitely recommend looking in this area.

I like the people within the city. Everyone is so nice and thoughtful and typically there is nothing to worry about. It is a safe neighborhood where everyone fits in.
Grosse Pointe Shores is a small community on Lake St. Clair in Detroit's suburbs. It is a great place to grow up. Waking up every morning to a sunrise across the lake is a great way to start every day.
