Verona is a pretty, quiet, small town. I enjoyed growing up with a big back yard and falling asleep to the sound of the train tracks. It is in a remote area with laughably small "downtown" but the cities of Verona and Walton are so connected that it just like one big area. A decent drive to anywhere outside of the Walton-Verona area but you get used to it. Overall, wouldn't have wanted to grow up anywhere else.
Not a diversity of options, but the ones that are there are decent.
