Vero Beach Reviews
We have lived in several Florida towns and we must say Vero Beach is the nicest, for many reasons. Vero maintains tranquility and nice people while other cities continue to become more and more crowded with alot of traffic. Vero is growing, but slowly. You will find good schools, organized sports for kids, and alot of access to cultural activities. The Riverside Park area always has interesting and fun events for all ages. The medical care is excellent and continues to expand. While the mall is declining as it is in many cities, the retail is more than adequate and continues to increase and broaden appropriately. The population is growing as many families are relocating to an area where life isn't saturated with over development and crime. Vero is also a strong location for retirees. Overall we rate Vero Beach "Excellent" due to its many positive aspects and opportunity for a flourishing and healthful way of life.
Although it has grown enormously in the past 30 years, Vero Beach still has a small town feel. Of course during season it gets quite busy, but not the stressful kind of traffic or activity that you find in larger cities. It is filled with charming restaurants and has a diverse list of activities for all to enjoy. The local theaters offer spectacular entertainment along with outdoor festivals at the community parks. The beaches and walking trails are a great way to keep active and the weather in the winter can't be beat!
I currently have lived in Vero Beach for all of my 17 almost 18 years of existence. So therefore I am not going to sugar coat it and act like I know everything about our community, but what I do know is this is an absolute wonderful place to live. Vero Beach has an amazing education system whether you are looking at colleges, high schools, middle schools, or even elementary schools. Vero Beach has tons of places for education such as Vero Beach High School, Indian River State College, Oslo middle school, and even Masters academy which is grades K-12. Vero Beach is also an amazing place for new job opportunities. I got a job at Indian River Estates when I was just 15 and have worked there ever since. Unemployment rates are only 5% so it is also an amazing opportunity for adults as well. I couldn't recommend Vero Beach enough as a place you should raise a family. Everyone here knows everyone and everyone talks and mingles and the environment is amazing.
