Our experience has been very good. We are a mid fifties couple with grandchildren not living in this area. 15 minutes from Brattleboro Vermont and 30 minutes from Greenfield Massachusetts and 45 minutes from Keene New Hampshire. All with good job prospects and each with a food coop!

We have a variety of restaurants for options. However, they are usually too expensive and there is virtually no night life
There is very limited public transportation. I have my own car and so do not use public transportation and cannot really rate it.
