Vernon Reviews

Living here is the best of both worlds. It is a country setting, however if you want to be in the city it is only 30 minutes away. There are plenty of things to do around here. I live next to a public school and there is a playground and a basketball court. There are many hikes you can go up into. There isn't much traffic so kids may ride their bikes up and down the road as they please. The kids in my neighborhood can explore all through town without having to worry about safety because the town is very small and everyone knows each other. We do have a little town cafe that has completely transformed this year and is very resourceful so if one does not want to drive 30 minutes out of town for something, they could get it in town as well. About 8 miles from town we have a reservoir and camping areas where many people go during the summer. It is very convenient and close for the towns' people.
