Living in New York the climate and weather can often shift drastically. The winter storms have been getting worse the past few years. Also in the past few years there has been an increase in the amount of severe thunderstorms and tornados affecting this area. While we don't really suffer from earthquakes, wildfires, or landslides I think the weather around here can be hard to deal with on occasion.

Vernon is a wonderful place to live. It is , however, located out in the country and does not have a lot to do. It is really pretty all year round and it is a really safe place to live.
Due to the Turning Stone Casino being located in this area that has opened up a lot of opportunity for social times and night life. There are many different restaurants in the casino and many different venues of entertainment. Within a short drive of this area there is a wide variety of restaurants to choose from. Any type of food you could want from Japanese and Chinese to Middle Eastern and BBQ. I think the restaurant and entertainment choices around here and pretty good.
