Venus is a very small town with one traffic light. If you prefer quiet country living this is definitely the place, however, if you prefer the busy city life then pass this town up (you probably won't even realize you've gone through it). Some things Venus could use is better fast food options; there is a Sonic, Subway, and a Whataburger, that's it. I enjoy how close it is to the larger cities (Arlington, Fort Worth, Dallas) but I do not have to deal with the craziness that goes on in the city.
Venus is a small town that is growing. The schools are excellent. This is a small town so there isn't a nightlife here. People move to Venus to have a country life and leave the big city behind. We are 6 miles from cities bigger and 16 miles from a few cities that bigger than the two that are closest to us.
Rural area living. No restaurants nearby. Family community. School ratings are low they bus many students in from nearby cities. One grocery store within ten miles and it closes early.
