Ventura is a small beach community nestled on the shores of the pacific ocean; located just South of Santa Barbara and North-West of LA. Ventura has a fun and lively downtown with many restaurants and bars, the harbour offers great food and rental water sport activities like kayaking, and of course no where in ventura is further than 10 minutes from the beach! Its a great town and I've loved growing up here.

Ventura is a great little beach town, perfect for families. It is a very tight knit community for the most part which makes for an enjoyable environment. And with Los Angeles only an hour away it is easy to get the city life experience without actually having to live there!
Ventura, CA is a fantastic city for families, as well as commuting to jobs in larger neighboring cities such as Thousand Oaks, Santa Barbara, and Los Angeles. These a diverse type of characters and the youth are very politically active. Previous incidents such as the Thomas Fire has brought us together as one and showed how strong and unified this community is. Overall a great place to live, just not a very racially diverse crowd, and not very affordable housing.
