This is a very small town of Craven Country in North Carolina outside of New Bern, Washington and Greenville. The poverty is average but more on the poor side. There is no place to have a nightlife for adults or teens for that matter. There's more churches on almost every corner you turn down. The school has a low education knowledge level. There's a small police station (Vanceboro Police Department- VPD) that only works during the day. At night you have to call the sheriff's office which is about 35 minutes away. I highly recommend not to live here or visit (unless you have family out here). On the plus side, in some places, it's very secluded and the country life... Lots of farms and lands. Scenery, depending where you are, is extremely beautiful.

It's a small place and everyone knows or knows of each other, so it's easy to find someone to hang out with. It's a close knit town and everyone looks out for each other. However, there's not a lot of places/ shops to go. More stores or restaurants would be a great improvement.
Vanceboro is a good place to live. The only problem is the overlaying racism that exists here. It's quiet so no one really bothers anyone but the place could do good with a bit more love.
