Vacaville is a midsized, family community. It has nice weather, good schools, and decent food. It’s an hour east of San Francisco and a hour west of Sacramento. There’s not a huge social aspect to Vacaville. The good thing is Vacaville is in the middle of everything! It’s 3 hours to the snow, 1.5 from a decent beach, 2.5 from the redwoods and white water rafting.
It’s a pretty nice area but can be generally boring around here. The only things around here are the outlets and the downtown area. It is a nice place for me and my family and is remotely safe. Once again the outlets are quite nice and give people more to do in the area. There are many great places to eat yummy food. Anyways it’s a nice are for the family to settle down but for me, with different priorities, I wish for more interesting events and activities were around. I do believe there are many fun things to do in a town next to Vacaville though, Fairfield. So living on the area can actually be really entertaining and fun! Great place to live but wish there’s more to do here.
Vacaville has been my home town since I was born. This town carries a lot of family history for me and its a place where I loved to grow up. This community is very strong and we come together to help each other out in times of need. Vacaville is family town and is full of life. Our downtown always hosts events and has great food & drinks. Vacaville is also really involved in supporting it's school events and sports games. Every friday night almost everyone no matter the age comes to watch the football game at the Zunino stadium. This has always been a tradition for most people that have grew up in Vacaville. Along with supporting school events, vacaville hosts event supporting local business and town figures called fiesta days once a year. Fiesta days are an event in May where we have a fair that has vendors, live music, food and lots more. This has been a tradition since the very start of this town and helps to bring the community together as well as to support small businesses.
