I just moved here from Florida and everyone is very nice and welcoming. The neighbors are extremely friendly and the school district is big on including new families. I think the town is easy to get around and has a lot of fun things to do. There are many different shopping centers, parks, and restaurants that are conveniently close. Everywhere is clean and kept very nice.

This suburb is about 10 miles south of Pittsburgh proper. The snow removal services, the trash services and recycling services are always on time. There are a few annoying rules about the lack of being able to have a privacy fence on your own property, but, that's what you get for living certain places. The school district is one of the best in the state.
Upper St. Clair is a thriving community in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. Because of high property taxes, the public schools are great. However, there is very little economic diversity (, likely as a result of the taxes. Close enough to commute into the city, but far enough away to feel safe and family friendly, this community is great for families looking to raise their children in a positive environment.
