It has many great programs for school-age children. There are also a couple of good stores and some great restaurants. There isn't really a nightlife, being so close to the city. There are some job opportunities but many often commute to the city or bigger towns for their jobs.

Family friendly, low crime, convenient. There is something for everyone in Upper Moreland - shopping, train, jobs, down-to-earth neighbors. I can't think of a better place to live.
I was born in Mayfair so having the corner store and friends to always play with was fun. Moving to the suburbs was a change because not many kids play outside anymore and having to drive places for anything is different. However, I rather live in the suburbs than the city because I feel safer in my opinion, and I like the quite, mostly peaceful environment a lot better.
