Herein lacks the diversity and advantages of living in a place with lots of possible jobs. It's small, friendly, and like any other rural place in Indiana, a spot in the middle of nowhere. It's secular, Christian, and generally spoiled. Low-risk environment, friendly people, mostly upper middle class families. It's also Very WHITE. "diversity" around here means more than one person who doesn't look like a white lobster or a sheet of paper. If you don't like the weather, wait 2 minutes.
Upland, IN is a tiny town in the United States that is so welcoming. In our small town we have three coffee shops, but no actual stop lights. OUr key highlight is the Ivanhoe drive in, where the best ice cream on the planet is served. Additionally, Upland is home to Taylor University. Taylor University brings thousands of students to our community every fall to fill our businesses.
Upland is a really safe and quiet neighborhood. There are not many things you can do. Other than the activities Taylor University offers for the community there are about five places where you can go and eat for fun with family or friends. My favorite place is Ivanhoe's. The only change that I would like to see in Upland is probably the development of more activities that involve not only the white community but also the international community of Upland.
