University Park is the perfect mix. It is affluent, but not as flashy and gaudy as Highland Park. It is very safe at all hours. It is super close to Uptown and extremely easy to access all parts of Dallas in under 20 minutes even in traffic.
One of my favourite parts is that it actually has a “pulse”. I used to live in Bluffview where you don’t know if your neighbours are alive or dead. It felt scarily quiet, and I didn’t know anybody there. UP will have people walking their dogs, parties, and other events always. Also it has great shopping and restaurants.

Great family neighborhood and schools! All schools within walking distance. Family friendly with block parties.
University Park is a great community. Everyone feels welcome, we have some of the best Friday night football, and the atmosphere reaches everyones needs. The houses are gorgeous, and downtown is a quick 5 minute drive south. There is amazing shopping and dining experiences. Overall, University Park is a welcoming community that I call home.
