This school is extraordinary. It has not been the best 4 years of my life. Rather, it has been the best four years of my life thus far. The future it has endowed to me is one for which I will be forever grateful.

The Charlottesville Police Department, particularly the department that oversees the University of Virginia Police has recently increased the police and security presence around grounds. I am unsure of the police presence outside of grounds, but the addition of the security headquarters on The Corner and the Ambassadors help add a sense of greater security.
I haven't taken full advantage of all that Charlottesville has to offer, but from what I have experienced I would say that Charlottesville is a great town to live in. There are plenty of fun community-centered events such as the Tom Tom Festival, great high-quality restaurants, and outdoors activities to participate in.
