If you don't enjoy being cold for a lot of the year then Vermont isn't the best option for you! The winter takes up a good portion of the year and they can be tough! Chilling temperatures and unrelenting snowfall can be challenging to live with. But, good Vermonters can fare a winter and get excited when the snow melts and spring and summer arrive!

Luckily where I live there is very little crime. Now a days crime is becoming more frequent so like other places we have the occasional crimes of burglary but it's not a normal thing to always be worried about. In the more urban areas the crime is higher like in most states. Police are very responsive even out in the rural areas. I overall don't have concerns about my safety.
Vermont is a beautiful state, and it makes people want to get outside and be active! There are so many parks and areas to take part in wildlife watching, and outdoor activities that we all enjoy!
