I've lived in Tyrone for over 12 years now, and it's the most peaceful town you'll ever visit! It is safe to say that not much happens, but that doesn't take away from all fun attractions you can enjoy with friends and family like the Tyrone park or visiting its neighboring city, Peachtree city. This city is truly one of its kind and is a great place to get away from the stress of a fast paced life.
Nice community and neighborhood , the local elementary , middle school and high school are very good .The High School has a wonderful football team and community is growing. There are many opportunities and the cost of living is moderate. Close to neighboring city Peachtree City which is a nice golf cart community with many stores that are quality. Many places to eat. I would recommend this location to new families looking for a nice place to live.
Lovely small town to live in. Very family friendly! Great for families and elders. Not really a place for millenials. But still a great family town. Lots of family activities and activities/sports for younger kids.
