Two Rivers Reviews
Rating 3.65 out of 5 17 reviews
Small town community conveniently located near multiple metropolitan areas. Great for outdoors activity, and near the lakeshore. Quiet and safe place to raise a family.
As most small rural towns in the midwest, the population tends to be older - and whiter.

Small town, if your from here fine however if your a transplant good luck on acceptance. Small town gossip and drama abounds. Very scenic and has much potential but old blood in town would rather see it die and rot on the vine before becoming a summer resort destination. Taxes are average, electric water & sewer bill is substantially higher than the rest of the state. Jobs are available here and in Manitowoc because folks can't seem to pass the drug tests. Business district along the main street is about 15 - 20% closed and vacant. The town is basically dead.
The only places after 9pm and weekends are Kwik Trip or McDonald's. (Bars don't count)There's two grocery stores with very limited options for fresh foods. They charge inflated prices for poor quality. You have to go to Manitowoc for options. There are maybe two places to order takeout food from and they're not that good. The schools are awful, I filled a school choice form to transfer out of the city after the second year here. This year, they ranked one of only two in NE Wisconsin to be underperforming badly. People are nice only to your face, don't trust any of them. The only reason I live here is because we wanted to live on the lake but be in a small town. I don't consider this a city but apparently they do. With it's lack of access to much of anything I don't see how. Property tax is equal to a nice city. Ignorance is rampant/encouraged. Low intelligence people. Need more decent and diverse families. Old ppl will be gone soon, this town needs a new type of people.
