It is a small, but beautiful town on the shore of Lake Superior. The lake is really pretty to watch. I absolutely love it when it snows it is so pretty! But this is Minnesota and it can get very cold, however the temperature is typically more mild as you get closer to the lake. And in the summer it can be quite hot (It was like 90 degrees Fahrenheit only yesterday) There isn't a lot to do here besides look at the scenery and take in the beauty so I wish there was some stuff like a movie theater or something around here. Other than the lack of things to do and the bitter cold in the winter the town is pretty nice and I like living here.

I love Two Harbors and it is not just because I live there. It is right on beautiful Lake Superior one of the great lakes. Every time I drive into town and see the gorgeous Lake Superior it puts a smile on my face and makes me so happy that I live near it. Two Harbors is a quaint town but it is a tourist destination as it sees almost a million people everyday in the summer just driving through on the main highway that basically ensures that people will stop and enjoy the fantastic North land. There is so much to do and if Two Harbors does not have what you are looking for then one of the other towns in the area does. Trust me it is not completely backwoods and to add on to the excitement, the Boundary Waters Canoe area and Canada are not that far away.
Very beautiful and scenic area with something for everyone in all seasons: hiking and biking trails, golf, skating, Grandma's Marathon, Northshore Inline Marathon, many lakes for recreational use and fishing (and Lake Superior), beautiful fall colors, ski hills, snowboarding, ice fishing, skating. Ely and Grand Marais have been awarded the Best Small Towns in America reward. Duluth has been named the best mountain biking destination. The Superior Hiking Trail follows the north shore from Two Harbors to the Canadian border. Two Harbors is a small town but only 20 miles from Duluth, with shopping, dining and entertainment. Two Harbors is beautiful right on Lake Superior, the cost of living is good, property taxes have not gone up much, it's a quiet town with a great new high school, and the community comes together to help in times of need.
