Santa Cruz, with some pitfalls, is one of the best places in the world to live. Bordered by the Monterey Bay and the Santa Cruz mountains, there is plenty to do and see, the people are, for the most part, friendly and active, and the food is wonderful. You cannot go wrong living in Santa Cruz, but shhhhhhhhhhh, try to keep it a secret!

This is a beautiful area with great friendly people. The motto of Santa Cruz is "keep Santa Cruz weird". There are definitely a lot of weird people in Santa Cruz, but its amazing, only in Santa Cruz it is where you see certain things, but its is so expensive, most likely because its touristic.
The Santa Cruz area is comprised of many locally-focused businesses, supported by our progressive community, but there is also an aspect of corporate development that detracts from the priorities of our town. This promotes growth that is not sustainable in a town that garners sustainability as something we are extremely proud of.
