Some people want the place to grow. Most want to keep it to themselves and keep outsiders out. It's hysterical to watch Tuttle residents' heads explode over new housing developments, especially the most recent discussion over a duplex community. If you're looking for affordable housing and didn't grow up in Tuttle, good luck trying to connect to the community. Better yet, good luck sending your outsider child to the schools.

Similar to my review of the schools, this town is not very welcoming to outsiders. It's laughable to see discussions about new businesses or residential developments because people legitimately do not want Tuttle to lose its' "small town feel" or get too big. I've seen many businesses come and go. Restaurants are mediocre and rarely live very long. Even the Sonic is pretty terrible. The diversity is slowly improving, but still pretty nonexistent. The park is nothing great and the 'walking trail' is unimpressive.
Tuttle is a small town full of charm. The schools are friendly and are the people who live there. I have lived there for almost 15 years, and it has been a great place to be raised. The town offers local jobs, so I have had the opportunity to work close to my family. It is about 30-45 minitues from Oklahoma City, so that offers more and different choices for a job.
