It’s really kind of your average small town. The crime here is ok, and it has a few fun things to do. The school system here is garbage, there is absolutely no private schools so you have to send your kid to a public school, unless you want to drive like 30 minutes for Webb or Winchester Christian Academy. I grew up here as a kid, but now I live in Murfreesboro which is around a 50 minute drive, and the really big city Nashville is an hour and a half drive. Overall this would be an ok place to raise a family, but if you want a city with a lot of stuff to do, this town is not for you.
I absolutely love my small town in Tennessee! We have the prettiest waterfalls within a few miles drive, skydiving over Tims Ford lake, and so much history with distilleries such as Jack Daniel’s and George Dickel. Tullahoma is literally a town as unique as it’s name!
Living here all my life, I would say Tullahoma comes down to two very nice things: The environment of the area, and the people in town. Being in Tennessee near the Cumberland Plateau, there's a lot of hikes and parks to visit and walk around in. The air has this fresh, welcoming scent to it, and it's a very beautiful place in and around the town. The next, and probably best part about Tullahoma is how nice the people are. I go to a very welcoming church, and have learned just how nice everyone is in Tullahoma. I've known some people here for my whole life, and it adds another aspect to just how wondering this town can be.
