Tucson Estates Reviews
This neighborhood is pretty quiet and peaceful. The scenery in nice, being surrounded by desert is a plus. You can hear the coyotes yelling at night, and there is little light pollution, so the stars are visible!
I love the mountains and sunsets. The city bus is ridiculous and without a car I have literally spent half of my days time riding the bus just locally. If I won this scholarship I would definitely buy a car FINALLY and save half a days worth of traveling daily cutting times from 6.5 hours to a 30 min. Drive to work! While the ride may be scenic it's not right to waste so much time traveling such short distances, but with jobs being so hard to come by in this poverty stricken town, if you are lucky enough to have a job, you will do anything to keep it. Thank you....your friend and hopeful future scholarship recipient: Kelly A. Kolofer in Tucson Estates, AZ
Tucson Estates has grown dramatically since 2000 with new homes, new shops and major road projects completed. It still retains a rural feeling because of the mountain separating it from Tucson proper. Low light pollution lets you see the nights sky clearly unlike other surrounding areas.
