All in all Tucker is a nice community with people taking active role to be involved. There are very nice establishments in good standing. I love the sense of community the people make you feel from the start. However, sometimes you still have unpleasant experiences. The school is good, but there are many things that should be improved starting with the staff itself. I like how the community is very supportive of the school. Always sponsoring school sanctioned activities and the sport clubs.

At first, I dreaded coming to Tucker. Leaving everything behind and uprooting my entire life to come to a foreign place was a very difficult proposition for my ten year old self. I was very closed minded, and I had no desire to be a part of this neighborhood. Fortunately, This did not last for long, and Tucker became part of my home and my identity. The amazing people that live here make me feel like part of a community. Our town is also very developed with a variety of small and big shops. Moreover, these shops, such as Walmart and Kroger are no more than ten minutes away. I have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the Tucker community, and now this has become a place that I do not want to leave.
I been living in Tucker GA for two years. For the most part the neighborhood is safe. Lot of movement on the weekends since Porple like to go out. They are major intersection to get on the highway including jimmy Carter boulevard. Everything is fairly closed to each other, grocery stores, public library, post office, gym, gas stations, lots of parks, gold course. It’s very close to Stone Mountain.
