Tryon is a small town but holds many intriguing places to visit or eat. There is an old movie theater in town that has been remodeled over time and occasionally will play older movies such as, "Its a Wonderful Life." There's several clothing stores, restaurants, and art galleries just on the small Main Street. Another popular place to visit is the Tryon Little Theater. There are several plays that are held here throughout the year and the most recent one was, "Mama Mia!". There are also historical train tracks that run through Tryon and make an excellent walk or place to take photos! Several restaurants in the area are family owned and run and this creates a quaint and safe atmosphere.
