Truro Reviews

I love my hometown of Truro. I have spent the last four years serving in the United States Marine Corps, and I seized every opportunity I could to go home and visit. It is a small farming community, where everybody knows everybody. People can leave their doors unlocked since there is very little crime in the area. The weather can be harsh, with hot summers, and cold, snow filled winters. This type of climate helps build the youth of the area though, as they quickly understand the responsibilities it takes to live in such an area. Many children participate in activities such as cutting wood to keep their homes warm, performing chores around the farm such as building fence, and feeding cows. On any given day, it is not uncommon to see a tractor parked in the school parking lot, driven by a student who will be going straight to the field to work after school lets out. I have every intention of raising my family in this area in the future.

This is one of the safest and most connected communities you'll find in Southern Iowa. Few places are as accepting and uplifting as this tri-town area
I can't remember the last time we had a violent crime in this area
