I've lived in Trumbull since I was born, I've attended public schools here. I am very comfortable and feel safe here. My friends and I meet up in the many parks that this town has to offer. We enjoy biking around town and hiking through the trails. There are a few lakes, I belong to a private one, and we can go kayaking, fishing...There is also 2 town outdoor pools and an indoor pool. We also have the Trumbull Mall we could go to, and we have a theatre with 16 screens! I would recommend this town to others, especially people with children.

There’s not a lot of business in Trumbull. Very rural Compared to surrounding cities of Fairfield & Stratford that offer more shopping, restaurants & entertainment. If you’re not a runner and you like to work out, there’s one choice of a gym that the entire town goes too. Same with the grocery store, no Trader Joe’s no sprouts, no health food options just a basic grocery store. Can’t find a car wash to save my life, always traveling to other cities to do my daily business/errands because it actually saves time. I can hit more than one store at a time . Other cities should bring their businesses to Trumbull they need it!!
I was born in Bridgeport, but grew up in Trumbull. Trumbull is more rural and many people have lawns and space to play which I did. My neighborhood was great because everyone knew each other and they would come to my house to play basketball, manhunt, or ride bikes. These were one of the best times of my life. As we grow older, we don’t play outside as much, but rather go anywhere in the car because we are able to drive. The problem is that there is nothing to do at night. There are no places open after 10 pm so it gets really boring. If there were more things to do, then Trumbull wouldn’t be as bad. Also, there isn’t that much diversity in Trumbull and one can clearly see that in school. I live in a predominantly white town and I know that that aspect has definitely shaped me and my way of thinking. I do wish there was more diversity because when there is more diversity there is more room to learn and understand others way of life from their point of view.
