Troy Township (Nova) is a very small town in Ashland County. It is located at the intersection of US 224 and 511. The commute to anywhere is somewhat long... The nearest city is Ashland which is roughly 20 minutes away. This town has a golf course, a bar, a corner store, a gas station, two campgrounds, a ballfields, a fire department, a feed store, a post office, two churches, and a tool rental. The corner store sells amazing ice cream; one of the best spots in Nova. There is not a lot of crime at all. The real estate market have pricier houses for the value. Many people in Troy Township work blue-collar jobs, such as farmers, construction workers, teachers, cashiers, etc.. Most people commute to work, with an average of 30 minutes one way.

Troy is a great small city that is large enough to host all the amenities you want but still have a smaller welcoming feel. Troy is also very forward minded and is always looking to improve. Living here has been great.
The area is relatively clean but nobody likes to socialize. The drug issues are on the rise and the local enforcement officers are not really around much. The availability for drugs, alcohol and cigarettes are obvious and in abundance. But the school district is okay and the properties are nice.
